Congratulations to all our successful students on attaining excellent results in their A-level and AS-level exams.

Comparing Progress for Ages 16-19

  • The progress students have made is better than national averages in English (51%, National 16%) and Maths (15%, National 10%)
  • The progress students have made compared with students across England is positive (A-Level added score 0.04)
  • Average point score per A level entry is expressed as a grade C
  • Average point score per A level entry (on the new UCAS points system) is 25.87
  • The one year Access course in Year 12 has a retention rate of 77%.

Our Year 13 leavers transition to a wide range of destinations: universities, apprenticeships and work. The vast majority of our Year 12 Access course students move onto Level 3 courses at Allerton Grange.

  • Higher Education progression increased by 8% from last year (82%-90%)
  • 15% secured places with Russell Group Universities
  • 77% secured their chosen Higher Education or vocational area
  • 61% stayed locally & progressed onto Universities in Yorkshire & Humberside
  • 72% secured HE places with a competition ratio of 10:1 or more
  • 7% secured additional HE funding via Bursaries & Scholarships
  • 11% secured HE places having endured Health or Emotional Well Being Issues during their time in the 6th Form
