Aaliyah wins drama award

Every year we present the Lily Cleal award in recognition of outstanding contribution to Drama. Lily was a high-spirited, fun-loving girl, who took her own life in December 2013. Her parents present the award at the end of the annual school musical and this year's winner was Aaliyah Rice in Year 11. 'Aaliyah is a highly talented student of Drama, who always gives 100% both backstage and onstage. I could not think of a more worth winner of this award' (John Hasselgreen)

It is important that families realise that suicide remains the highest cause of death for under 25s in the UK and we urge you all to share Lily's story with your children as young people are incredibly vulnerable.
