Health & Social Care

Health and Social Care is a vocationally focussed course, intended to prepare students with the skills they may need if they are thinking of following a career in one of the many Health and Social related occupations.

We offer the BTEC First Award in Health and Social Care, equivalent to one GCSE.

During Year 10 students will complete 2 of 4 units. These are:

  • Unit 1: Human Life Span Development (Exam)
  • Unit 2: Values in HSC (coursework)
