The Year 8 P.E. curriculum is a progression from the Year 7 programme with more time spent on developing individual skills and tactical awareness in the activities. Schemes of learning will continue to focus on a rotation of:

  • outdoor team games
  • indoor individual sports (including badminton and table tennis)
  • apparatus gymnastics
  • health and fitness (using the fitness suite)

In the summer term, students will be taught athletics, striking and fielding games, and tennis.
