Curriculum

At Allerton Grange, we aim to provide a successful, valuable and enjoyable learning experience for all of our students.

At Key Stage 3 (Years 7 and 8), students study a wide range of subjects in each year group. During Year 9, students can opt for one ‘choice’ subject to study at GCSE along with the other subjects that make up the English Baccalaureate (Ebacc) pathway.

At Key Stage 4 (Years 9, 10 and 11), we offer a wide range of academic, vocational and technical qualifications taught by specialist teachers. Students will follow the Ebacc route which includes English, Maths, at least two Sciences, a Language, Religious Studies and core PE, as well as either History or Geography and one choice subject.

Further details of our courses, including what will be taught term-by-term, can be found within each Year page in this area. Additional information and useful links have also been included so that parents/carers can continue to support learning at home.
