Parents/Carers Commitments
I will:
Ensure that my child attends school every day, on time and fully equipped.
Inform the school if my child is unwell and/or unable to attend school.
Fully support the school’s policies and guidelines for behaviour and uniform.
Fully support my child in homework and other opportunities for home learning.
Support my child to participate in enrichment opportunities including educational trips and visits.
Attend consultation evenings for my child.
Maintain mutually respectful relationships with students, staff and governors.
Promote a love of reading.
Engage with the ClassCharts parent communication app.
Students Commitments
I will:
Attend school every day and on time.
Bring all the equipment I need every day.
Wear the Allerton Grange school uniform.
Do all my classwork and homework to the best of my ability.
Follow the Allerton Grange school rules.
Maintain mutually respectful relationships with students and staff.
Represent Allerton Grange and its school values in a positive way at all times.
Use the ClassCharts app every day.
School Commitments
The school will:
Provide full access to our KLAS curriculum.
Provide opportunities for all students to take part in enrichment activities and trips.
Provide opportunities for parents to engage with the school through ClassCharts and Parents' Forum.
Contact parents if there is a problem with attendance, punctuality, equipment, uniform or behaviour.
Regularly report on your child’s progress.
Recognise, reward and praise our students for their personal progress and achievements.
Provide an annual consultation evening where parents can discuss progress.
Keep parents informed about the school through regular newsletters, the website and notices about special events.
Provide a broad and balanced curriculum supported by homework.
Encourage parental access to governors and staff as appropriate.
Offer parents the opportunity to enter into an Intervention Contract to support them in addressing attendance/behavioural issues.
Promote a love of learning and reading.
Develop a partnership of governors, school, parent(s), and child all working together to provide the best education for your child.
